On April 23, 2009 Astronaut Gregory Chamitoff presented a Space Flight Awareness Award to the Centrifuge Vibration team at Ames Research Center (ARC). This award was in recognition of the extensive efforts put forth by the ARC Centrifuge Vibration team, which developed and implemented a comprehensive evaluation of the impacts of vibration and acceleration on crew performance.
